Faux Clay Pot

I transformed a transparent glass pot into a faux clay pot – no clay or kiln required!

Using the a similar process like my Rustic Book Cover, I used a mix of paper towels, glue and spackling paste. I used white glue to add the air dry clay decorative pieces to my pot, then painted them metallic silver.

It looked a bit dull, so I finished it off by brushing on DecoArt’s triple thick gloss glaze.

Once fully dried, I placed artificial flowers inside my decorative faux clay pot.
