I had a great time at the Beeswax Candle Making Workshop, at the Bee Shop!
Beeswax symbolizes light and purification in many traditions.
We learned the remarkable process of how these amazing insects make beeswax and the process of how to make candles.
We made three different types of candles; Rolled beeswax sheets, dipped tapers and candles from molds.
At the end of the the workshop we went to the rooftop and we each had a taste of honey directly from the honey combs! It was quite delicious!
