I visited the Aga Khan Museum in North York, which showcases Islamic art.
The museum’s collection is well-curated and is a nice place to visit for those who value art, history and cultural exploration.

For centuries, patterns and motifs have been a staple in the Islamic world.

The clay supplied to us was pottery clay, which can be fired in a kiln.
We explored different ways of shaping and designing our clay tiles.

We didn’t paint our tiles during the workshop.
Once my tile was fully air dried, I painted it at home with acrylic paint.
